SUNBURY — Weis Markets announced Wednesday that minimum wage for newly hired associates will be $9 per hour. The change goes into effect August 12. Current hourly employees will also see a bump in their hourly rate.
Jonathan Weis, Chairman and CEO says “This new wage benchmark will not only benefit a significant number of our current associates, but it will also help us attract and retain talented associates.”
