Teen Dies In Route 287 Crash Friday Night
TROUT RUN TOWNSHIP — A late-night crash along Route 287 in Lycoming County was deadly for a 19-year-old driver. According to the Lycoming County Coroner, the crash happened Friday night on Route 287. 19-year-old Quinn Dowdell of Floral Park, New York, was traveling south when the vehicle left the roadway.
The coroner’s office says Dowdell was not wearing a seatbelt and became trapped inside the vehicle. Emergency crews pronounced Dowdell dead at 9:32pm at the scene. State police, Morris, and Trout Run volunteer fire departments, and Susquehanna Regional EMS assisted at the scene.
