Sunbury man jailed for burglary

burglarySUNBURY — A Sunbury man was sent to jail, charged with a burglary on April 4 outside the city.  State police say Hugo Concepcion-Arroyo is accused of crawling through a window at a home along Route 147 in Upper Augusta Township.

 

Once inside the home, police say he tried to steal a purse, but the homeowner encountered the man, who fled the scene.  Concepcion-Arroyo was charged with burglary, criminal trespass and terroristic threats.  He was arraigned before District Judge Hugh Jones and sent to the Snyder County Prison on $50,000 bail.
