SUNBURY — A Sunbury mother of three says tight finances threaten gifts for her 4-, 6-, and 11-year-old children. The woman tells organizers she can’t afford rent this month and says the Here. For Good. campaign offers rare relief as she works limited hours due to costly child care, according to the Salvation Army.
The Here. For Good. holiday fund continues the long-running Needy Family Fund, which has raised more than $3.8 million since 1987, and officials say this year’s goal is $175,000 to help struggling families across the Valley. Donation details are available at hereforgoodcampaign.org.
