SELINSGROVE – Helping small businesses and entrepreneurs grow is the idea behind the Selinsgrove Business Incubator, which is opening this Friday. Kelly O’Brien Gavin of the Rural Business Innovation Corporation says they are here to assist with startup needs of businesses and individuals at the incubator, located at 113 North Market Street in Selinsgrove.
An open house and ribbon cutting will be held Friday from 1 to 3 p.m. with guests including Senator John Gordner (R-27th, Berwick), State Representatives Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-108th, Sunbury), and Kurt Masser (R-107th, Elysburg), members of Selinsgrove Borough Council and the Selinsgrove Mayor and others. O’Brien Gavin said, “The incubator creates a more positive environment to welcome small businesses and entrepreneurs into the downtown.” (Ali Stevens)
