Upcoming Roaring Creek Trail fall drive-through
PINE GROVE- Everyone has a unique opportunity to drive on the Roaring Creek Trail this weekend. The Weiser Forest District is holding a Roaring Creek Trail Fall-Drive Through tomorrow (Sunday), starting at 9 a.m at the Weiser State Forest in Pine Grove, Schuylkill County.
The DCNR Bureau of Forestry has permitted this event for continued public outreach with the forest district. The Roaring Creek Trail is a unique eight mile trail that goes through the Roaring Creek Tract of the state forest.
The drive-through starts at the Route 42 parking lot gate, ending at the Route 54 parking lot gate. The gate will be open until 2 p.m. All vehicles must exit the trail by 3 p.m. Only passenger vehicles will be permitted to enter. Traffic will be restricted to one-way travel.
