Northumberland man cited in Riverside crash

RIVERSIDE—A Northumberland man has been cited for a traffic violation after this week’s incident where he crashed his car into a church. 28-year-old Nick Bickhart ran his car into the St. Peter’s United Methodist Church educational building.
He was traveling north on Avenue G Monday and went through the intersection of Avenue G and Sunbury Road. He told police he was distracted by his GPS at the time. State police at Stonginton cited Bickhart with a stop sign violation, they say he was not injured in the crash. (Matt Catrillo)
