WHITE DEER TOWNSHIP — The case of the severely injured Sharon Budd is back in the news now that Tyler Porter was denied parole for his actions in 2014.
The state parole board ruled Wednesday that Porter has refused to accept responsibility for his actions and would be a risk to the community if released.
Sharon Budd was injured in an incident in 2014 where four men threw rocks from an overpass on Interstate 80, one of which went through Budd’s windshield and severely injured her. Porter pleaded no-contest in 2015. (Christopher Elio)
