MONTOURSVILLE — A Montoursville shooting became a homicide investigation over the weekend. State police said 43-year-old Jonette Crossley of Jordan Avenue died at UPMC Susquehanna in Williamsport after being declared brain dead at 2pm.
The Lycoming County Coroner’s Office notes that she was a suitable organ donor candidate through the Gift of Life program.
State police say borough police responded to 324 Jordan Avenue at 8:20pm for a welfare check, heard a gunshot, and later entered about 1:50am . Police said they found Crossley shot and took 43-year-old Johnnie Drummond into custody. Bail was denied for Drummond.
