MILLVILLE – Teachers are accusing the Millville school board of stalling negotiations on a new contract. The fact-finding report arrived August 31, but the school board will not vote on it until September 10. In a press release, elementary school teacher Carol Troisi said there is a strict time line associated with fact-finding, “This is not a scheduling issue – it’s a stall tactic.”
Mark McDade, PSEA representative said they expected the school board to vote on the report right away. Until the board votes, he says, “We are in a state of paralysis at the bargaining table.”
