Sunbury fire department Mayfair at the Playground Dan Saxton and Lisa Portzline Good Will Hose Company Playground
SUNBURY — About 50 vendors and stands, and several hundred fairgoers attended the first annual Mayfair at the Playground in Sunbury. Organizers Lisa Portzline, and Dan Saxton said they were busy both Friday night and Saturday evening. The two-day event was a fundraiser for the Good Will Hose Company.
The Mayfair was held on the fire company’s playground at Sixth and Line Streets. On display was the brightly colored vehicle that is the subject of the Sunbury Mustang Raffle. Saxton said he has been selling the $100 tickets steadily during the event. Several pieces of fire apparatus were stationed on the playground, and Sunbury Motor Company had a number of vehicles on display.
