MILTON — A rather enchanting, magical fundraiser is set for this weekend.  The Milton Public Library at Rose Hill is hosting another literary lawn party. The event this Saturday supports the work of the Milton library. The theme this year is a Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Rob Jones from the library board says the entire evening should be enchanting, “The play is a magical, whimsical type of thing. We just want people to come and have a good time and enjoy the library. The library will be open for tours.”

Tickets for the event are $40 each or a table of six $200. Members of Gaspipe Theatre Company will present a selection from Shakespeare’s play, a Midsummer Night’s Dream. Ben Hartman, from Gaspipe says the library is a perfect place for the event.

He says, “If there’s a nicer place to spend a midsummer’s night, I haven’t found it, it’s just the best. The setting sells itself. There’ll be plenty of people, food, things to do, but the setting itself is just amazing.” You can reserve your seats by calling the library at 570-742-7137. (Jennifer Wakeman)
