MANDATA — The Line Mountain School Board has accepted a final offer issued by an arbitrator for a new teachers contract. The News Item reports the board voted 5 to 3 to approve the final offer.
If the Line Mountain Education Association also approves the report, a contract will be finalized and a strike will be avoided. The teachers have been working without a contract since June of 2012. A vote by the union is expected today.
