DANVILLE — A Danville home was heavily damaged by fire Friday morning. A blaze broke out at the home at 8 C Street just after 6:30a.m. The home, owned by Amanda Boyer, was vacant at the time, was being remodeled. There were no injuries reported.
Danville Assistant Chief John Buckenberger tells us the fire was out by noon. Some crews remained on the scene putting out hot spots at the home.
Traffic was slow around the fire scene while crews worked. Crews from Danville, Mahoning Township, Riverside, Liberty Township, Washingtonville responded. Crews from Northumberland County also assisted. (Jennifer Wakeman)
