SUNBURY – A small section of Sunbury was evacuated Monday afternoon. A crew digging on Linden Street in Sunbury struck a gas main shortly after 2p.m.
Homes in a two square block area from Spruce to Walnut Street from Third to Fourth Street were evacuated and roads were blocked off. An estimated 40 homes were involved. The Americus Hose Company served as an evacuation center. (Matt Catrillo/Mark Lawerence)
