WILLIAMSPORT — The former director of a Union County Boy Scout camp has been sentenced to prison for sharing child pornography on the internet. Pennlive.com reports that 39-year-old Matthew Manning of Hughesville was sentenced Thursday in Lycoming County to one year in county prison and eight years of supervision.
Manning was arrested in June at Camp Karoondinaha in Union County. Police say he shared videos showing naked girls as young as five. Manning has been in jail since January, when he pleaded guilty to 10 counts of sexual abuse of children. He must register as a sex offender for the rest of his life. Manning is a former science teacher in the Muncy Area School District.
