LIME RIDGE — A late-night fire in Lime Ridge destroyed a mobile home and killed a dog late . The Press Enterprise reports two women escaped the blaze at a home along Fort Jenkins Lane in Pleasant View Mobile Home Court.
According to Lime Ridge Fire Company Chief Charles Fedder, crews were dispatched around 10:45pm and found the trailer fully involved. Firefighters battled the flames for about 45 minutes in 18-degree weather before knocking the fire down.
South Centre Township Police Chief Bill Richendrfer said the home belonged to Sara Konrad, who lived there with Lorri Disidoro. The Press Enterprise reports the Red Cross was contacted to assist the displaced residents, and a fire marshal is investigating the cause.
