SUNBURY — Northumberland County Commissioner Rick Shoch has announced his intention to run for reelection. Shoch was first elected as a commissioner in 2011. He is a Republican and native of Northumberland County, currently living in Sunbury with his wife and their four children. Shoch is an attorney and serves in various capacities for a number of local volunteer organizations.
Some of those organizations include Boy Scouts of American, Sunbury Revitalization Inc., SUNCOM and the Susquehanna Valley Community Education Project, where he is on the board’s executive committee. (Ali Stevens)
