DANVILLE — A woman driving a car that crashed last week, killing her granddaughter, has succumbed to her own injuries. The Press Enterprise reports 54-year-old Janice Petroff died Wednesday after suffering complications from her accident injuries.
The Berwick woman was at the wheel eight days ago when her vehicle slid off of Martzville Road near Berwick. Her 19-month-old granddaughter died in the crash when the car hit a utility pole. A GoFundMe.com site set up for the family after Emma’s death had raised $8,000 as of last night.
