Coal Township Woman Back in Court for Deadly Crash

ELYSBURG-  The Daily Item reports a Coal Township woman is back in court a second time following a deadly crash in Ralpho Township that killed a thirteen-year-old Selinsgrove boy. Emilee Bland will be re-tried after a jury deadlocked in June on felony charges tied to the October crash in 2023 at Route 487 and Industrial Park Road. Prosecutors say Bland crossed into oncoming traffic, while her attorney argues it was a tragic accident and was not criminal negligence.  Jury selection started on Monday. The crash killed 13-year-old Christopher Sensenig.
