MILTON — State police continue to investigate an assault that took place earlier this month, leaving a Dewart man with serious injuries. Troopers say the man was at Pete’s Bar in Milton on May 8 and received a ride from someone, who has not been identified.
The victim left the bar at 2:20 a.m. and was assaulted sometime during the ride. He was found three hours later in the parking lot of Dewart Livestock Auction and was taken to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
