ELYSBURG – A worker at an amusement resort was arrested for operating a ride while under the influence of drugs. The Press Enterprise reports 29-year-old Edward Kleman was witnessed by patrons falling asleep several times while operating the Ferris wheel at Knoebels Amusement Resort the night of July 2.
He was also witnessed putting ride tickets in his pocket instead of the ticket box. Security was contacted and Kleman was taken into custody. Kleman had two bags of synthetic marijuana on him, which is also known as Spice. Kleman is charged with possession of drugs and theft. (Ali Stevens)
