MIFFLINBURG — A Mifflinburg woman remains at Geisinger Medical Center following a pedestrian accident on Monday on Buffalo Creek Road in Union Township, Union County. 63-year-old Janet Reed is listed in fair condition at Geisinger.
State police say Reed was running on the Buffalo Valley Rail Trail near Mifflinburg when she ran into the road at Buffalo Creek Road and was struck by a car. She was thrown onto the roof of the vehicle and sustained serious injuries. The driver of the car from Montoursville was not cited for the accident. (Ali Stevens)
