SUNBURY — NorthcentralPA.com is reporting… A 51-year-old woman is accused of holding a child as a shield and attempting to grab an officer’s firearm while police tried to arrest her earlier this month.
Andrea Isabella White was taken into custody February 9 at a Sunbury home. Police say White refused to put down the child and resisted arrest. During the struggle, she allegedly grabbed the officer’s gun holster.
White faces charges including disarming law enforcement, child endangerment, and resisting arrest. She posted bail after it was reduced at her February 18 hearing. Her charges were waived to court.
