BLOOMSBURG – The blimp that has escaped Aberdeen, Maryland is causing power outages across The Valley. Columbia County 911 tells WKOK a cable hanging from the blimp is snagging power lines as it travels across The Valley.
. Traffic lights are out in Bloomsburg and power is reportedly out at Bloomsburg University. Currently, more than 20,000 customers are without power in Columbia County. Fire police are stationed at every intersection on Route 11 to help direct traffic.
2,200 residents in Montour County, particularly Derry Township are without power at 2:45p.m.
