SUNBURY – The West Nile Virus continues to affect The Valley. Samples of mosquitos from Columbia and Northumberland counties tested positive for the disease this week. This marks the third time samples from our area tested positive, including a second time in Northumberland County.
In last week’s report by the West Nile Control Program, samples from Montour and Union counties tested positive. The West Nile Virus staff is responding with additional surveillance and control as needed. (Matt Catrillo)
