WEST MILTON – The Standard Journal is reporting… A West Milton man is facing felony sexual assault charges after a violent sexual assault Sunday in West Milton. 30-year-old Daniel Pendergrass facing aggravated indecent assault, rape, and strangulation charges.
The woman said she and Pendergrass had been drinking alcohol, she took a nap, and woke up to find him sexually assaulting her. He then assaulted her violently and the victim briefly lost consciousness.
According to online court documents, Pendergrass has been locked up in the Union County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for 10:30 a.m. July 25, before Rowe.
