SUNBURY — Weis Markets donated $30,000 to Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital during a check presentation at its Danville store on February 20. Weis says the funds were raised through in-store customer donations in December and a company contribution. Funds will support pediatric care and hospital improvements.
Dr. Frank Maffei, Chair of Pediatrics, expressed gratitude, emphasizing the donation’s role in enhancing patient care and public spaces. Weis Markets says they continue their long-standing commitment to helping young patients and families throughout central and northeast Pennsylvania.
