WATSONTOWN – Watsontown police have arrested a woman for theft and fraudulent use of credit cards. 29-year-old Jennifer Burns was arrested Wednesday after being seen driving her vehicle outside of Watsontown.
Police say Burns stole a woman’s wallet Saturday and used four credit cards to make numerous purchases totaling more than $300 before the victim cancelled the cards. Burns was arraigned by district magistrate Benjamin Apfelbaum and sent to Snyder County prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.
