WATSONTOWN — A Bradford County man was arrested by Watsontown Police after they say he repeatedly asked a teen girl for nude photos. 18-year-old Zackery Shaffer is accused of trying to get a 15-year-old Watsontown girl to send him nude pictures of herself while they were chatting on social media October 29.
Police say Shaffer knew the girl was 15 and repeatedly tried to persuade her to send nude pictures. Shaffer was interviewed and eventually admitted to making the requests. He was charged with felony counts of unlawful contact with a minor and criminal use of a communication facility. Shaffer was arraigned today and released on bail, with a preliminary hearing set for November 23. (Ali Stevens)
