WHITE DEER TOWNSHIP — Pennsylvania American Water Company is investing more than $500,000 to rehabilitate a major water tank in Union County. The 503,000-gallon tank in White Deer Township will be sandblasted, repainted, and repaired as part of the company’s 2025 infrastructure plan.
The company says the improvements will help extend the tank’s service life and maintain water quality for local customers. The project is one of several upgrades happening across the state.
Pennsylvania American Water says it plans to invest $6.2 million this year to improve or build water storage tanks. The company announced the plan during Infrastructure Week. No service disruptions are expected while the work is underway.
