UPDATE: Warrior Run Middle/High School lock-in lifted, suspected identified
TURBOTVILLE – Charges are likely after a self-described ‘prankster’ put some of the Warrior Run schools on lockdown because of a bomb and gun threat Wednesday.
The alarm sounded around 8:15am when, in a restroom, state police say someone discovered a note regarding a bomb and a gun in the school. Eventually, it was discovered that the incident was a prank and a suspected was identified. The identified teen’s name is not being disclosed because of he is a juvenile.
The Warrior Run Middle/High School was placed on what the district says was a ‘lock-in’ occurred and the lock-in was lifted several hours later. Troopers say there was no imminent danger to students, faculty, and staff. A trained K9 was brought in to help search the school.
