Wanted Middleburg man is now in custody

handcuffsMIDDLEBURG — A man wanted for a number of traffic violations is now in custody following a traffic stop in Middleburg. Middleburg Police say Dylon Riden was stopped for a traffic offense on January 1 and it was determined that there was a warrant for his arrest for an incident in June.

 

Police say on June 29, they stopped Riden for a traffic violation and determined he was driving under the influence and he was arrested.   Police say Riden didn’t have a valid driver’s license, insurance, or registration. Riden is also accused of illegally transferring a registration onto the vehicle he was driving. A warrant was issued for Riden at that time.

 

He was arraigned before District Judge Lori Hackenberg on a number of charges, including possession of a controlled substance. (Ali Stevens)
