MIDDLEBURG — A recovery organization has its first anniversary.
Walking Free Clubhouse organizers say it is a safe, supportive environment where lives are rebuilt and recovery grows stronger. The organization is celebrating its 1-year anniversary with a community open house .
The event runs from 11am to 3pm at the Recovery Resource Center on Route 522 South of Middleburg. Organizers say the open house will highlight the clubhouse’s mission of supporting people in recovery through connection and community.
The schedule includes clubhouse tours from 11am to noon and a PlayStation tournament through 1pm. Welcoming remarks and guest speakers begin at noon, followed by a Volunteer of the Year award. Food, games, raffles, and door prizes will be offered. More information is available at 570-975-5595.
