DANVILLE – Afternoon thunderstorms downed a number of trees and limbs along the trails at the Montour Preserve Monday. Significant cleanup work needs to be done and volunteers are needed today.
The Montour Area Recreation Commission is organizing a work day today from 7:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Volunteers will be removing materials from trails at the Preserve. Those willing to help should bring work gloves and meet in the Visitors’ Center parking lot at 7:30 a.m. If you arrive late, you can look for other volunteer groups to join. (Ali Stevens)
