DELAWARE TOWNSHIP, NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY – A Hughesville man was one of five people taken to the hospital following a crash along I-180 in Turbot Township, Northumberland County.
Milton state police say seriously injured was 36-year-old Anthony Hurst. He was taken to Geisinger where a spokeswoman says he’s listed in critical condition.
Troopers say four other passengers, including an eight-year-old girl and two boys, ages 10 and 5, were also taken to Geisinger with minor injuries. Medical updates were unavailable for those individuals.
Troopers say Hurst lost control of his vehicle along I-180 west around mile marker 7, swerved across both lanes of traffic, struck an embankment, and the vehicle overturned onto its roof.
Troopers say Hurst was ejected through the driver side window.
Troopers say Hurst could be cited with a traffic violation pending their investigation.
