MONTOURSVILLE – Traffic delays are expected to begin next week as a bridge repair project gets underway. The Veterans Memorial Bridge on Route 61 between Shamokin Dam and Sunbury will undergo repairs beginning Monday, May 9.
The project includes deck repairs, the installation of new expansion dams, the application of an epoxy overlay and line markings. Work will be between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday until the project is completed in early August. There will be lane closures and motorists should expect delays.
