RIVERSIDE – The investigation continues after vandals trashed a Riverside farm market overnight Friday. Damage was discovered when the market opened Saturday morning. Fruit was smashed on the floor inside the Whitenight Market, pots were smashed, plants were dumped out and even playground equipment was overturned by the vandals.
No money was missing and posts on the Whitenight Facebook page thanked the community for their help. Riverside borough police and PSP Stonington are investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call Riverside police at 570-275-4305 or State Police at 570-286-5601. (Jennifer Wakeman)
