SUNBURY – The Needy Family Fund has reached $13,000. A $100 donation from Ron and Coleen Renshaw of Middleburg pushed the total to $13,091.08.
This year’s goal is $75,000. The Needy Family Fund, sponsored by The Daily Item, Sunbury Broadcasting Corp. and BB&T, raises money during the holidays to assist the Valley’s less fortunate. It is administered by Salvation Army citadels in Milton and Sunbury. Area residents can make donations at BB&T.
