SUNBURY – The chair of the Susquehanna Valley Libertarians is mounting a last minute write-in campaign for the state legislature. Drew Bingaman announced Thursday that voters in the 108th legislative district could write in his name rather than vote for candidates from the two major parties.
On his Facebook page, Bingaman said he believes the Democratic and Republican candidates are good people, but disagrees with their policy positions. As a result, he has chosen to conduct a write-in effort.
Incumbent Republican Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-108th, Sunbury) is facing Democrat John Deppen on the ballot November 8.
