SUNBURY – The first accumulating snow fall is heading for the Valley later this week. AccuWeather says 1-2 inches of snow is expected Thursday, along with a wintry mix of snow and sleet in the afternoon. Thursday night could bring an additional inch, as more snow, sleet, and freezing rain is expected. Thursday’s forecast wintry conditions could bring dangerous travel. According to AccuWeather’s hourly forecast for Thursday, wintry precipitation could start around 2 p.m.
