UPDATE: Several Streets and businesses NOW OPEN after police incident

UPDATE: The following streets are now open.

Because of the shooting in Shamokin:

Northumberland County’s Department of Public Safety has released a statement, saying the following streets are closed:

• Sunbury Street, which is Route 61, is blocked from 6^th Street to 9^th
• Independence Street from 6^th Street to 9^th
• Market Street from Independence Street to Sunbury Street.
• Lincoln Street from Shamokin Street to Liberty Street.
• Rock Street from Clay Street to Water Street.
