LEWISBURG — The Susquehanna Valley United Way exceeded its Day of Giving goal after a big kickoff of their campaign at a Soiree. Organizers say donations reached $8,602, unlocking an $8,000 sponsor match and totaling more than $16,600 for local programs.
Much of the support went to the new ALICE (Asset Limited Income Constrained Employed) Fund, which helps working families struggling to make ends meet. Officials say first-time donors and small gifts across the region showed that hope and generosity remain strong in the Susquehanna Valley.,
