LEWISBURG – A new study ranks Union County as the healthiest county in the state. County Health Rankings and Road Maps rates all of the counties in Pennsylvania on healthy factors including access to quality health care, diet and exercise, tobacco use and many other factors.
Union County is also praised for education and employment opportunities, family and social support and community safety. Other area counties on the list include Snyder, which is ranked 7th, Montour, which is ranked 22nd and Northumberland, which is ranked 49th.
