TREVORTON – Two teens were hospitalized at Geisinger Medical Center following a crash near Trevorton Tuesday afternoon. State police say 18-year-old Cody Spade of Dornsife and 18-year-old Mark Johnson of Red Cross, were transported by ambulance to Geisinger Medical Center and they are both listed in fair condition.
The teens were traveling in a car on Route 225 when the car slid out of control and was airborne before crashing into a utility pole. The car landed on its roof. The News Item reports a passerby helped the teens out of the car. Route 225 was closed for a time while the wreckage was removed. The investigation continues and state police say speed may have been a factor. (Ali Stevens)
