MONTOURSVILLE – Two more road projects are starting up in the region next week and PennDOT is issuing some travelers advisories.
n In Mahoning Township, Montour County, the department says River Drive at a rail crossing near Danville, will be closed for a project next week. They say a retaining wall will be replaced at the rail crossing. A detour using Clinic Drive, Route 11 and Ridge Drive will be posted. Work will be done in a week or so.
n Interstate 80 in Turbot Township, Montour County, PennDOT says a bridge preservation project is beginning. It’s the I-80 bridge over Route 254 that will be where crews will have all motorists form a single lane. That work will start at 7pm and finish at 1pm the next day. That is a three-week project.
