BLOSSBURG – Two PennDOT employees remain hospitalized after a fatal four-car accident in Tioga County last Wednesday. State police say Andrew Puhlick and Harold Whipple were stopped in the southbound lane of Route 15 near Blossburg due to an accident in the northbound lanes.
A tractor-trailer driven by Keith Bryson failed to slow for the stopped traffic and hit a car driven by 39-year-old Michael McCollum of Turbotville. McCollum, Whipple and Puhlick were taken by Life Flight to Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre. McCollum was pronounced dead Saturday. Puhlick and Whipple remain in critical condition Monday afternoon.
