HARRISBURG – The state Department of Community and Economic Development announced two projects in Northumberland County are receiving over $500,000 in grant funding.
The DCED says L&W Family Farms will be receiving $400,000 to construct two 25,000-square-foot pullet barns along 1026 Jordan Township Road in Jordan Township.
The DCED also says Ryan and Samantha Romig will be receiving $147,500 for the acquisition of a 40.1 acre farm at Ridge Road and Stone School Road in Point Township, Northumberland County.
These projects were part of eight total projects approved by the DCED totaling just over $3 million.
