Two men jailed after break-in in Sunbury

FEAT_HANDCUFF_GENERIC1SUNBURY – A Northumberland man and a Sunbury man are jailed on burglary charges.  Court records state 29-year-old Prenden Heintzelman of Northumberland and 29-year-old Wayne Thompson of Sunbury were arrested for a break-in on Pine Street Monday night in Sunbury.

 

The two are accused of breaking a window at the home in an effort to steal prescription drugs.  Neighbors helped lead police to Heintzelman and Thompson.  Heintzelman was sent to Snyder County Prison on $35,000 bail.  Thompson is jailed at SCI Coal Township on $25,000 bail.  They are both charged with felony burglary and criminal trespass and were arraigned before District Judge Ben Apfelbaum in Sunbury.  (Ali Stevens)
