WEST CHILLISQUAQUE TWP – Two men are dead following a Northumberland County crash early Saturday morning. Milton state police say driver 21-year-old Blake Kovilaritch of Milton and passenger 22-year-old Nicholas Guglielmi were killed in the accident.
Kovilaritch was driving on Sodom Road in West Chillisquaque Township when he lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. Neither were wearing seat belts.
Both Kovilaritch and Guglielmi were pronounced dead at the crash scene by Chief Deputy Coroner Gotlob and Deputy Coroner Gabe DeMarco. Their deaths are attributed to blunt force trauma to the head. State police at Milton are investigating the crash.
